If speakers are announcing something newsworthy at Web Summit Qatar, they’ll provide us with a press release that we can distribute to members of the media at the event. Press releases will be hosted on our website, which you’ll be able to visit during the event to discover the latest news announced at Web Summit Qatar.
Press conferences
The press conference stage is a private space located in the Media Village. The stage is set up theatre-style, with two tables and seating for two at the front.
There is dedicated space for journalists, television cameras, videographers and photographers.
There is a full AV facility in the press conference area, including a roving microphone and a screen for presentations.

Yes! Web Summit Qatar has a dedicated press conference facility at the event.
The press conference area operates each day of Web Summit Qatar and typically press conferences take place directly after a speaker’s appearance on stage and are open to media.
The area is managed and staffed by Web Summit's media team.
Each press conference features an introduction from Web Summit's media team to assembled members of the media, followed by a brief statement or comment from the speaker before the floor is opened to questions.

Podcast booth
Yes - Web Summit Qatar has a dedicated, fully equipped space for audio recording. Podcasters can capture their latest episodes in our dedicated booth on the exhibition floor, equipped with microphones, a sound mixer, and a dedicated engineer – all at no extra cost.
Go Studio
Our Go Studios are our on-site broadcasting facilities. These facilities are complimentary for journalists and are perfect for broadcast or video-based interviews. Please note that our studio spaces are in high demand during events and must be booked through our Global Broadcast Manager.
