Well, for one thing, it's how you access your ticket for registration, so you really can't come to the event without it!
Aside from that, our in-house built software helps power your event experience.
The Web Summit Qatar app lets you connect with attendees, set up meetings, check out the hottest startups, and add the top talks to your personal schedule – all in one place.
You can view your personalised schedule in the app at any time.
Any talks you save, or meetings and activities you arrange via the app will automatically appear in your personal schedule.
Is there a speaker, investor or startup you’d really like to meet? Why not start a conversation?
Navigate to the Explore section of the app, and search for their profile. Tap on Connect, and you’ll be able to chat.
To set up a meeting with an attendee, use the Explore tab.
Select the ‘People’ filter and scroll through our attendee list. Filter people by role, industry and location using the ‘Filters’ button, or search for an attendee you want to meet by using the search bar at the top of the screen.
On the attendee’s profile, scroll down to tap ‘Request a meeting’, and fill out the relevant information. This attendee will receive a notification and, if they accept the request, the meeting will be added to both of your personal event schedules.
You can also schedule a meeting by tapping on the ‘Schedule’ tab at the bottom of your app screen. From there, select ‘My schedule’, tap the ‘Create meeting’ button, input all of the meeting details and add participants.
Of course! Follow these steps:
Make sure you have the most updated version of the mobile app.
Open the app and enter your login email or ticket reference.
Click 'Log in'.
Check your inbox for an email from us with a single-use authentication link (it might be in your Spam folder).
If you don't receive the authentication link email...
Return to the app and click the “Trouble receiving our email?” link under the email sent notification.
Enter both your ticket reference and your email address.
Click 'Log in'.
That should do the trick!
