During the same time I was working on this project, I was also working on another much larger service project, my Gold Award. For this project I spent over 90 hours doing research and making a website, brochure and Brownie badge surrounding pet safety in different weather conditions to encourage people to get outside with their pets to better their mental health. For the Action project for this topic I decided to expand my Gold Award project to include firework safety for pets, and add  information on PTSD awareness to help advocate for this cause that I am passionate about. I chose to use my Gold Award site because of the traction it was already receiving. My site has been shared on multiple social media sites, it is shared in my brochure that is being distributed at vet offices and animal recuses, and at the end of May I will be doing a poster presentation at a Western New York Award Ceremony. I knew more people would see the added information about this cause by including it in my existing page instead of making it a new awareness page.
