We will use our College Curriculum Committee to identify and resolve problems before sending the proposals to the Dean for approval. These are some things that University Curriculum would like us to consider:
Critically and carefully review New Program Details
Does the proposal have a distinct name (different from all others you are proposing)?
Are all documents attached and credit hours totaled correctly?
Will this cause problems for the student?
How does the proposal effect other programs or courses?
Be sure that there is a catalog map attached and that it makes sense
The submission dates listed below are for curriculum (undergraduate & graduate) that have been approved in Curriculog by the Department Chair. Proposals must be at the College Curriculum Approval Step by the deadline date. You are responsible for making sure that your proposals get approved in Curriculog.
All the various types of Program, Course, and General Education proposals will be submitted by using the Curriculog System. See Curriculog for the types of proposals available. Contact the College Curriculum Committee Chair, or your Department representative in that committee, for further information on curriculum submissions. If you have questions regarding the Curriculog system, please email curriculum@weber.edu or call Patti Glover, x6233.
