Congratulations to Abe Smith, Ryan Ridge and the creative writing team for the creation of the Wasatch Writers Center. Abe's book, Dear Weirdo, was also published, so double congratulations are due!
J.T. Womack hosted an enormously successful high school Honors Band this weekend. Thanks to him and the many music faculty who held sectionals for a wonderful musical and recruiting event!

Due dates for RSPG and other grant funding are fast approaching. You can find dates, information and applications here. If you are requesting college funding support for these requests, please remember to give us one week before the due date for vetting and signatures.
WSU Policy Announcement - Review Revision Proposals: Weber State University invites its community to submit feedback on the following proposed five policy revisions due by January 24.
ARCC and Dee Technology Grants are due Friday, April 1st @ 11:59 pm. If you're planning on applying, please get your ARCC representative a copy of your proposal AT LEAST a week BEFORE this deadline. If you are requesting additional funding from the Dean's office, please submit your request to us also a week before the deadline. This year all proposals will need a signature from IT. Please allow the IT expert sufficient time before the deadline to do an evaluation of the proposal; three weeks is advised. https://www.weber.edu/ARCC
The Clear the Air Challenge is a month-long competition to encourage Utahns to reduce vehicle emissions, improve air quality and reduce traffic congestion by driving less and driving smarter. WSU hosts an internal Challenge each February to encourage a friendly competition within the campus community. Students, colleges, and each of the six university divisions compete to win weekly prizes and recognition.
