College-Bound Student-Athletes

Want to compete at a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) or National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) School?

College-bound student-athletes preparing to enroll in a Division I or II school should register with the NCAA Eligibility Center to ensure they have met amateurism standards and are academically prepared for college coursework.

• To study and compete at a Division I school, you must earn 16 NCAA-approved core-course credits, earn a minimum 2.3 core-course GPA and submit your final transcript with proof of graduation to the Eligibility Center.

The NAIA is a governing body of small athletics programs dedicated to character-driven intercollegiate athletics. To participate in athletics in the NAIA, you must be admitted to the college or university under admission standards equal to or higher than those applied to the general student body.
