- Every TRJ Teacher Guide is given a resource box that is theirs for the year and returned at the end of the year. It is the TRJ Teacher Guides responsibility to ensure this is complete, ready for the next year teachers.
- Every TRJ Teach Guide is provided with a box to keep the student guidebooks in. These guidebooks should not be made available to students, other than when in their TRJ time.

Your role is to:
- monitor & record when Challenges are completed. There are 6 challenges.
The following resources will help support you in this:
- TRJ @ Dio Challenge Info 2020 - all the info you need about the Challenges. This will need to be shared with your class.
- TRJ @ Dio Challenge Tracking Sheet 2020 - a tracking sheet for recording Challenge progress for each Year 10 class. This needs to be updated regularly. Please only use this original version & do not make copies of it.
- Every student receives a TRJ Student Guidebook that their Teacher Guide keeps safe for them. The guidebook has pages where students track, record & reflect on their Challenges.
Mentoring/ Tuakana Resources
Your role is to:
- Ensure every Teina in your class has a Tuakana. You may need to work with the Year 10 Dean and/or International Dean/ Jane Lugton.
- Ensure the primary caregiver of every student in your class has completed the Mentor/Tuakana Information Google Form by the end of Term 1 week 4. Mentor/Tuakana Info 2020 Google Form. Whanau will have been sent this in the Term 1 newsletter.
- Send the letter to the Tuakana by the end of Term 1 week 5. Tuakana Letter Term 1
- Ensure your students understand the Tuakana brief. Tuakana Project Brief
- Check in with your students about their progress in the Tuakana project throughout the year. The student guidebook has pages where students record details about the time they spend with their Tuakana.
- Help prepare them for The Homecoming, in Term 4. Students display what they have done with their Tuakana. For example, they may display something they have created.
Your role is to:
- A student GC has been created for TRJ @ Dio 2020. Ensure you & all your students have joined the class. Rather than sharing resources on there, it might be beneficial to share links to this website. This should help streamline your workload. :)
- Facilitate the learning of TRJ @ Dio programme in lesson time.
- Organise & return resources to the resource room promptly so they can be used by other TRJ Teacher Guides.
