My idea is to look into memories and significant and meaningful things like badges and equipment, and alsl explore the house and objects within it.

What worked
I found that my still life worked well and turned out pretty good
I liked the hand work and I will re shoot something like this to get a better photo as the lighting will be better
I liked working with the photos and objects and creating a still life sort of thing
the old photos looked quite cool as they were weathered like had been ripped and creased over the years so there itself its telling a story
What didn't work
the day I did my shoot the weather was very dark and rainy so I struggled with the lighting and due to this quite a few of my images are not crisp and clear or how I wanted them to be
Artist models
My ideas: I want to look into her sitting in her chair. I also want to look into hands as these are a big part of her life as without her hands she wouldn't of been able to get to where she is today. And for me hands symbolise everything they have done in life. I will have jewlerry that is maybe draped over her hands, this jewlerry may be her mothers jewllery.
Dianne Arbus
I like this idea of the older lady sitting in her chair reading the news paper, and the important thing her is that it is her on her own.
Azzedine Alaia, Paris 1989
I like the idea of having the hands and the beads together as these beads may be of signicance like a family air loom
Naomi Campbell, Brooklyn new york 1990 vogue italia
I love the idea of the hands piled on top of eachother and I think I will have someone elese hand on top of hers.

Shoot 2 Evaluation
my shoot went well, I was able to be inspired by my artist models and then go do my shoot inspired by them.
I was able to get some nice photos with some different angles of light and shadow provided by the sun. I had a bit of difficulty getting the lighting to be right as seen in the shoot.
The outside photos were hard as it was a very hazy day so the images do not look clear.
In a couple of the images the side by sides are in the background which is sort of tieing in the farming side of things.
Key features (Andre Kertesz)
Black and white
Still life genre
light and shadows
purposeful arrangements
lines
My ideas: I will apply the use of shadows within my work and use purposefull arangements. I will try have the forsnips shadow pointing to the significant part of the photogrpah.

Shoot 3 evaluation:
I found that this shoot went quite well, it was a bit rushed. there was quite a lot of reptition in this shoot, if I was to shoot again I would jab the images in the ground or the forsnips and then get the shadows casting of them in a line which would look quite cool.
Ideas:
purposeful arrangements: I will use nursing equipment like forsnips to represent and show her nursing days
significant background photo: the background photo will be of her as my whole theme is about her.
blurred background
significant items placed on top of the photo: I might place some sort of nursing equipment and maybe some cow tags and farming equipment and also bring in her squash days as that was a big part of her life too.

Evaluation:
I found that this shoot went quite well considering that I wasn't actually at my grannys house but I had a few object that were from her house. The weather was very rainy which meant hard lighting but I was able to find a spot that had good natural light. I like my idea of have the big photo of granny and then having the three lineed up the nursing, the farming and the squash playing.
