Theatre teaches us essential skills that can be applied to many areas of our lives such as communication, confidence, problem solving, collaboration, responsibility, and creativity. Theatre helps us to see a different perspective from our own and learn empathy. Theatre is immediate, evolving and always different. Although the script may be the same every night, the performance is unique each and every time it happens. Theatre promotes knowledge and literacy. Studies have shown that students who participate in theatre do better in school. Most importantly theatre is FUN! Learn more about why our students love theatre HERE!
Drama Club is open to Edgewood IB Middle School and High School students. Drama Club meets Tuesdays at lunch. Due to COVID-19 Regulations, all Drama Club performances will be virtual until further notice. Students must maintain a 2.0 GPA to participate in performances and after school activities.
