1. How does the classroom meet the needs, interests and learning diversity of middle level students?  

• Our classrooms and educators are student centered and catered to provide the best education for our students unique learning abilities. Diverse and cultural themes are incorporated in our curriculum. In creating a safe and welcoming place for students to learn and grow, a variety of cultural artwork fills the school walls. Our educators accommodate to every child’s, disabilities, special needs, and giftedness in order to promote their independent learning. 

2. How are the classroom connected to the mission and philosophy of the school? 

• In every classroom at HA, our educators create a safe, collaborative, and hands-on learning environment. Art requires hands-on-learning, a form of kinesthetic learning. Focusing on art integration allows students the opportunity to construct and construct their understanding in creative forms rather than traditional assessment. 

3. What are some school-wise rules and procedures?  How do they meet the mission of the school?  What is the rationale behind these?

• Every morning with our pledge of allegiance, classes state their pledge as students of HA (the pledge can be found under the "student expectations" tab).  Children use their creativity and collaboration skills to advance their learning and beavioral development. Daily reminders in the morning help to reinstate the expectations of our learners. These rules and regulations are implemented for the benefit of the children and school-wide employees.
