Since 2015, our students have engaged annually with SBAC testing to assess the subjects of literacy and math on a district and state level. STAR assessments are one tool of the Mountain Views Supervisory Union teachers to help inform instruction. These qucik tests (about 30 minutes each) are administered to students in Grades 2 through 6 in Fall, Winter, and Spring. Teachers are able to use the assessment results to plan future learning goals for each student. Results are reported annually to parents with the June report cards.
The Mountain Views Supervisory Union also subscribes to DreamBox Math for students in grades K-6
Vermont Early Learning Standards (VELS) guide instruction in PreK through Grade 2. More information available at this link.
