2026 Executive Women International Scholarship Program (EWISP). This scholarship is for any eligible high school senior whose career plan includes a post-secondary education at a university, college, trade, or vocational school; however, ONLY ONE STUDENT PER HIGH SCHOOL may apply.

Eligible entries will be judged by a panel of three Birmingham Area Judges. We will host in person interviews with our top 10 applicants in April. The Scholarship will be awarded at the end of April at our chapter meeting.

✍️ How to Apply: Submit an application with your current transcript and essay detailing your educational goals and how the scholarship would help you. Applications for the 2026 school year open in August 2025. Deadline to apply is March 18th, 2026. Winners will be awarded in April 2026.

Be enrolled full time as a high school junior in the United States
Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a bachelor’s degree at an accredited non-profit public or private institution in the United States
Demonstrate financial need ($100,000 or lower household income)
Be involved in co-curricular and community service activities
Display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity
Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0
Be a United States citizen
SENIORS
Application Deadline: February 15, 2
Eligibility Requirements:
Be enrolled full time as a high school senior in the United States
Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a bachelor’s degree at one of the target colleges/universities on our website (complete list can be found here: Senior Scholarships)
Demonstrate financial need ($100,000 or lower household income)
Be involved in co-curricular and community service activities
Display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity
Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0
Be a United States citizen
The Summer Honors and Dual Enrollment Scholarship Application is available during the spring semester within each student’s Applicant Dashboard. Each student will log in with the username and password they created when applying to the college through our website (https://www.bscc.edu). If a student has not applied to BSCC, they will begin by clicking on Students and then Apply Online.

Eligibility highlights include:
Currently reside in the United States. Undocumented students are eligible.
Born on or after June 2, 2007.
Experienced homelessness within the last six years.
Starting college for the first time in the 2027–2028 academic year at a four-year college or university, community college, or trade school. This includes:

High school seniors planning to take a gap year
Students earning a GED who plan to start college in 2027–2028

The Mental Health Career Navigation Fellowship
This is a hybrid student program open to and serving high school juniors and seniors as well as college freshmen and sophomores in Bibb County, Blount County, St. Clair County, Chilton County, Walker County, Shelby County and Jefferson County (Alabama). The in-person components of the program will take place in Birmingham, Alabama and consist of a program orientation (January 2026) and closing ceremony (August 2026). Buckets of Smiles - see attached
Description: "Buckets of Smiles is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that was founded in 2017. The organization delivers hospital-approved activity items to childhood cancer patients in hospitals across the country as well as fundraises for childhood cancer research. This scholarship is to be awarded to a childhood cancer survivor who is a senior at a high school in the state of Alabama and will be attending a college or university.
