Typing Assignment

Students will be working on improving their touch typing skill on Type Station.  Students have the first 10 minutes of classtime everyday to practice.  They are encouraged to practice at home as well.  

Students will be graded in 3 ways.

1. Pre and Post Assessment: A pre-assessment was given at the start of the quarter.  During the last week of the quarter, students will take a post assessment.  They will be graded based on their wpm and accuracy improvement WITH a keyboard cover.

2. Target Lessons: Throughout the lessons, there are target lessons to test skills learned in that unit (ex. Home Row).  Students have 2 attempts for these and should use keyboard covers.  This will be graded based on the set target of 20 wpm and 80% accuracy.

3. Completion of 100 lessons: Students are expected to complete a minimum of 100 lessons.
