Computer applications is a 10 week, exploratory course offered to 7th grade students to hone their digital literacy skills. Computer Applications is aligned with the New York Computer Science and Digital Fluency Standards.  We will explore topics that include: Impacts of Computing, Computational Thinking, Networks and System Design, Cybersecurity, and Digital Literacy. 

Computer Applications is just the start for your student's digital learning! At the high school level, students can use the basics they learn in Computer Apps in classes such as Computer Game Design and Mobile Application Development.
