About me

Hello and welcome to my website! Before exploring my site (which will change from time to time as navigation pages will be added and taken away to the menu), I'd like to take this opportunity for you to get to know a little bit about me.

I moved to East Fishkill from NYC when I was four years old. I attended Gayhead, Van Wyck, and John Jay. I have been teaching ELA at Van Wyck for 15 years. I have two older sisters and a younger brother. One of my sisters owns Dogward Bound, a dog training and boarding facility in Carmel, NY, and my other sister (Mrs. Colucci), teaches fourth grade here in the WCSD. My brother is a police officer in Sullivan County and is the Sergeant in the Town of Fishkill PD. I am married to Mr. May who teaches 8th grade social studies here at Van Wyck and together we have 4 amazing children and a shichon, Eleanor (Ellie).

In addition to teaching, I LOVE doing activities and exploring new places with my family, being outdoors, running, biking, and spending time with my very large family who I am VERY lucky to have all live in the area. I look forward to a fun and successful school year with you and can't wait to meet and get to know ALL of you!
