I'm a graduate of the Wappingers Central School District. I have fond memories of the schools I attended. I was a student of Vassar Road Elementary School, Gayhead Elementary School, Van Wyck Junior High School and John Jay High School. I am currently a resident of Hopewell Junction. In my free time, I enjoy reading, drawing and writing. My favorite piece of technology I own is my iPad.

I look forward to working with many of the wonderful students and parents that are a part of the Myers Corners Elementary School community. By working together, the students, the parents, and I can have a very successful school year! I have had the pleasure of teaching at Myers Corners Elementary School for 25 years. My first year at Myers Corners, I taught A.I.S. for 3 - 6 and was a second grade class size reduction teacher for one year. Since then, I have taught second grade for 24 years. It is the best grade to be teaching with such wonderful students who are enthusiastic about learning. I always love to see the growth that each child shows throughout the year in every subject area. I can't wait to start the new school year on Thursday, September 4, 2025!

My goal is for each child to be active participants who learn in a variety of different ways through their learning styles and the use of many technological devices, such as the SMARTboard, digital movie making equipment, desktop computers, and i-pads. I want to foster an enthusiasm for learning, critical-thinking skills, and emotional growth throughout the year.
