Course: World Studies: Prehistory
Description: Fall Semester
Upon completion of this semester-long course, the student will understand the world from its beginnings to the fall of the Roman Empire. Units of study include prehistoric man and the rise of civilization, Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome and fall of Rome. There will be an emphasis on development of historical academic skills such as utilizing reliable research, public speaking, usage of primary and secondary sources, and critical thinking.
Note: This course is offered 1st semester ONLY and is followed by World Studies: Reform in the 2nd semester.
