Music courses benefit students interested in any of the career clusters. Music contributes to the development of skills in language, mathematics, science and overall academic achievement. Students involved in music not only develop physical skills but creativity, self-expression, self-discipline, and social skills needed in every career cluster choice they decide to follow. Music provides students with skills for living a richer fuller life in today’s society. Music, the universal language of mankind, builds bridges of understanding between individuals, groups, and nations.
