Dear Students & Parents,
This course description book contains information about the classes that will be offered during the 2025-26 school year. Many exciting opportunities exist at Webster City High School, and thanks to our partnership with Iowa Central Community College and neighboring school districts we have countless career and college readiness pathways.
Students, your high school years are critical in the development of interests, strengths, and passions. Indeed, many of the classes you will take next year will be required for graduation, but a number will be electives of your choice. As you determine which courses to take, we hope you will reflect on the courses you have already taken as a Lynx. These experiences have most likely identified a subject or two of interest, now it’s time to turn those interests into strengths by challenging yourself in another course in that field, so that we can help you uncover your passions.
Parents, we hope you will take the time to review your student’s four-year plan and post-high school goals. The time is now to help your student examine their goals for high school and plan for their future. If you have specific questions about graduation requirements, career and/or college readiness skills, and elective offerings, please don’t hesitate to contact your student’s teachers, counselor, or principal.
Go Lynx!
