Course: 9th & 10th General Physical Education
Description: Fall & Spring Semester
Students will be introduced to many different types of conditioning and cardiovascular training, which will help them to develop an individual fitness program in the future. Students will also be introduced to activities that are team, individual, cardio and strength training. Students will be focusing on skill development with challenging new games and activities. Learning opportunities include weight lifting, circuit training, touch football, softball, badminton, basketball, tchoukball, volleyball, tennis, and aerobic videos. This class contributes to good health and physical development as well as character development. These skills are valuable for all careers.
