Course: Geometry
Description: Fall & Spring Semester
This two semester course will cover the concepts of the Essentials of Geometry, Reasoning and Proof, Parallel and Perpendicular Lines, Congruent Triangles, Relationships with Triangles, Similarity, Right Triangles, Quadrilaterals, Properties of Transformations, Properties of Circles, Measuring Length and Area and Surface and Volume of Solids. This course will be helpful for students considering a career in any of the sixteen career clusters. This class will prepare students for the next course in the sequence, Algebra 2. Upon completion of this sequence students will be prepared for a 2 or 4 year college or trade program.
