Course: Advanced Algebra 2
Description: Fall & Spring Semester
This two semester course is especially helpful for those students in the pathways that require Calculus. This course will cover the concepts of Equations and Inequalities, Linear Equations and Functions, Linear Systems and Matrices, Quadratic Functions and Factoring, Polynomials and Polynomial Functions, Rational Exponents and Radical Functions, Exponential and Logarithmic Functions, Rational Functions, Quadratic Relations, Counting Principles and Probability, Data Analysis and Statistics, and Series and Sequences. This course will be helpful for students considering a career in any of the sixteen career clusters. This class will prepare students for the next course in the sequence, Algebra 2. Upon completion of this sequence students will be prepared for a 2 or 4 year college or trade program.
