Course: ICCC Medical Terminology (HSC 113)
Description:
Students will study the terminology of the human body systems relevant to various healthcare professions. Students will gain knowledge of functional vocabulary related to medical science. Definitions, standard abbreviations, pronunciation, and correct spelling will be included. This course will also help students gain critical thinking skills which are essential to making important life, health, and career decisions.Â
NOTE: Students will receive 2 credit hours at Iowa Central Community College.
