Course: ICCC Human Anatomy & Physiology II w/Lab (BIO 173)
Description: Spring Semester
The second course in a two-semester sequence. The study continues with the senses, endocrine system, blood, and cardiovascular system, lymphatic system, and immunity, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems. This course will help students refine their critical thinking skills as they evaluate various topics and concepts while searching for underlying connections between the concepts, which is a skill that should be beneficial in any/all types of careers. This course will also help students gain scientific literacy which will be of vital significance when making important life decisions.
Three hours lecture, two hours lab.Â
NOTE: Students will receive 4 credit hours at Iowa Central Community College.
Grade Level: 11, 12
Prerequisite: Must meet ICCC guidelines (BIO 168 with a C or better)
