Course: General Health II
Description: Spring Semester
In this course students will learn about skills for healthy family, peer, and romantic relationships as well as violence prevention and conflict resolution. Through the CAPPS program students will learn about pregnancy prevention and avoiding sexually transmitted infections. Students will also study other bacterial and viral infections and learn ways to keep themselves healthy. Students will identify the effects of drugs, alcohol, tobacco and vaping on the body, understand influences that promote substance abuse, and develop the skills needed to resist those influences.
NOTE: General Health I is NOT a prerequisite for General Health II.
