Course: Food Preparation
Description:
Students who want to enhance their culinary skills, are interested in cooking as a profession or enhancing the life long skill of cooking, should enroll in this course. Students will keep safety and sanitation in mind as they gain experience preparing a variety of food; meats and proteins, grains and casseroles, yeast bread, main dishes and desserts. Upon completing this class, you can apply for Advanced Foods Preparation and take ICCC Food Prep/Knife Skills.
Grade Level: 10, 11, 12 Elective Credit
Prerequisite: Intro to FCS
