All classes taught at the ICCC Career Academy in Eagle Grove.
Computer Science Students in the Computer Science career pathway will look at the technology that is integrated into our daily lives. In a world where the use of the computer is inescapable, students will learn how to use it for many different tasks that make them essential in today’s world and to understand the intricacies of computer software and web design. It is a major that requires considerable expertise in information technology, imagination and creativity to problem solve. It is to be distinguished from computer science, which is a more theoretical, “big picture” endeavor. These are hands-on courses of study, largely found at the Associate degree level. This Pathway is unique, as the classes will join with the Greene County Career Academy in Jefferson. Classes have the possibility of originating from Fort Dodge, Jefferson or Eagle Grove on different days. It will utilize either Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or some other virtual electronic program.
