Course: Entrepreneurship
Description: Fall & Spring Semester
Students today realize becoming a business owner is a career option. This Entrepreneurship course provides you with the knowledge needed to realistically evaluate your potential as a business owner. Entrepreneurship is geared toward helping students understand all of the issues that come with starting and owning a business. The curriculum centers around evaluating business ideas, developing the vision for one that will be successful, and bringing the business to fruition. Students will examine all the major steps involved in starting a new business: Ownership, Strategy, Finance, and Marketing. Students will receive real-life practical experience as they will be involved with operating a student-ran business at the high school.
Grade Level: 9, 10, 11, 12 Elective Credit
Prerequisite: Intro to Business recommended
