Course: Agriculture Risk Management
Description: Fall Semester
Risk Management and ICCC Intro to Ag Business are designed with yearlong enrollment in mind but may be split into individual semesters. Students will utilize a program called GrainBridge that will allow students to understand how agriculture professionals set up profiles for their production facilities. Understand budgeting and cost estimation of inputs in order to offset the risks involved in agricultural production. Students also learn the multiple marketing strategies that are available to producers to utilize.
Grade Level: 11, 12 Elective Credit
Prerequisite: Intro to Ag and Plant Science and/or Vet Science Preferred but not required.
