Course: Introduction to Agriculture I
Description: Fall & Spring Semester
An introductory agriculture course for students interested in agriculture and/or FFA. Intro to Ag. I & II are designed with yearlong enrollment in mind but may be split upon request. This first course of Intro to Agriculture will include an orientation to the history of agriculture education and FFA and how agriculture education, FFA, and Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) work together in the total agriculture education program. Other units of instruction include leadership, communication, lab safety, and introduction to soil and natural resources. This is a required course for Freshman students planning to enroll in other agriculture courses.
Grade Level: 9, 10, 11, 12 Elective Credit

Course: Introduction to Agriculture II
Description: Fall & Spring Semester
An introductory agriculture course for students interested in agriculture and/or FFA. Intro to Ag. I & II are designed with yearlong enrollment in mind but may be split upon request. This second course of Intro Agriculture will include introductory units covering various fields of agriculture that include but are not limited to Animal Science, Plant Science, and Ag Power and Technology. This is a required course for Freshman students planning to enroll in other agriculture courses.
