Course: Ag Systems Technology 1 & 2
Description: Fall and Spring Semesters
Ag Systems Technology 1 & 2 are designed with yearlong enrollment in mind but may be split into individual semesters. In this course, students will have an in-depth study of the technology that is utilized in today's agricultural practices. This includes animal science, plant science, precision agriculture, and more. This is designed to familiarize students with common and new technologies, no matter what sector of agriculture they are interested in. AST 1 will focus on harvesting equipment and machinery, soil science technology, GPS, GIS, and precision agriculture. AST 2 will focus on animal housing, plant housing, soil science technology, and any new and emerging technologies.
