Course: Ag Risk Management
Description: Fall Semester
Risk Management and Ag Business are designed with yearlong enrollment in mind but may be split into individual semesters. Students will work to understand budgeting and cost estimation of inputs to offset the risks involved in agricultural production. This course will emphasize the application of basic, practical business management skills in marketing, demand analysis, forecasting, production, finance, and leadership with a global perspective. This course will help students develop critical thinking skills necessary for making management decisions regarding the business and its employees.
