Course: Ag Power Technology
Description: Fall Semester
Ag Power Technology and Ag Equipment Maintenance are courses designed with yearlong enrollment in mind but may be split into individual semesters. Ag Power Technology exposes students to mechanics, power, technology and career opportunities in the world of ag mechanics. Students will cover shop safety, tool operation, material selection, fabrication, machine components, ag structures and engineering, and technology uses for both plant and animal systems. This course gives students an introduction to courses that they can take afterwards in our Ag Shop strands.
Grade Level: 10, 11, 12 Elective Credit
Prerequisite: Intro to Ag I and II Preferred
