Course: Ag Metals
Description: Spring Semester
Ag Metals and Ag Welding are courses designed with yearlong enrollment in mind but may be split into individual semesters. Ag Metals students will learn the fundamentals of metal work while in this class. Safety will be emphasized before units of study. Units of study include metal types, thickness, measurements, metal tools and hardware, uses of metal, stress points and strength of metals. Students will also be introduced to welding basics. After completion of this course students will be able to advance on to Metal Fabrication and welding courses.
Grade Level: 10, 11, 12 Elective Credit
Prerequisite: Intro to Ag I and II Preferred
