Accommodations are only available for students with a current IEP, Section 504 Plan, Transitory Impairment documentation, or an English Learner Plan
Decisions about accommodations must be made with the best interest of the student in mind
Accommodations must be documented in a student’s respective plan using this order of precedence: – IEP – Section 504 Plan – EL plan/documentation – Transitory impairment documentation

How to Find Student Accommodations for IEP
in the ECATS System
General Directions
❖ Login to ECATS from your WakeID portal, click ECATS icon
❖ Click on “Students” in the header bar or click on students located in your “caseload” located to the bottom left on ECATS opening page.
❖ Click on “Students” in the header bar, then type the student’s last name in the appropriate box and then click View Students at the bottom
❖ Click on the student’s name and it will bring you to the “Student Profile” page ❖ Click on “Documents” in the sub-header
❖ Scroll down on the Documents page – each of the documents are hyperlinks that will take you to a PDF. The documents are in order from most recent (at the top) to oldest (at the bottom)
FOR IEPs:
• Open the most recent document titled “IEP Document” – this is the entire IEP • You will be looking for the section with the title “Least Restrictive Environment (Classroom Activities)”
• This will describe the Classes and their respective Accommodations
• Following that will be accommodations for any Standardized Assessments – it will be labeled “State and District Assessments”
