🗞️Second Grade Enrichment News
This quarter, our second graders are concentrating on enhancing critical thinking skills. Students will make connections and strengthen their verbal reasoning through a study of analogies. In this study, students learn to think critically and logically as they evaluate word meanings, connotations, characteristics, and other possible relationships connecting words and ideas. Students will also enhance critical thinking skills when engaging with logic and number puzzles. These puzzles improve mathematical thinking, deductive reasoning, and analytical thinking that is both stimulating and challenging for our young learners.
