In honor of Earth Day, we created an Environmental Change Makers Video Challenge. The goal of the challenge was to highlight environmental projects and efforts happening at schools in Wake County. Students across WCPSS created 2 minute long videos that show what environmental projects they have taken on, and why they are important. See the schools below!
The STEM Academy at Athens Drive Magnet High School has experimented with composting, installed a solar array, engaged students in an environmental themed BINGO game, and collected plastic bags to make sleeping mats to donate. Go Jaguars!
