Service Opportunities

REMINDER: ONLY those listed below are considered sponsored opportunities. If you have another activity in mind you'd like to have considered, please email all details to Mrs. Bradford BEFORE you complete the activity. Failure to do so could mean that your sponsored hours are not accepted.

**You can earn a maximum of 5 hours per service opportunity. All 20 service hours will be due by April 30th.** 

Mondays:  Recycling

• Millbrook United Methodist Church Food Pantry

• Until 12/18: Kindness Card Drive

• Until 12/19: Addis Jemari Christmas in Ethiopia

• 1/3: Make-A-Wish Color Run

  • No volunteers needed, but participation counts towards hours

Races

• 12/13: Frosty 10k & 5k

• 12/27: Kickstart 5k

• 2/7: Ghost Road Trail Run

• River Bend MS Media Center help (contact Rebekah Sanderson - rsanderson@wcpss.net)

• Help with Wakefield PTSA events

• Tutor at ANY Wakefield school

• Teacher help at ANY Wakefield school

• PORCH Communities - contact a community leader for information about dates for picking up and sorting food. If you can't find your neighborhood, PORCH always welcomes volunteers when they need them!
