A strong school library program promotes and advocates for student data privacy by providing instruction in data privacy to students and staff and by prioritizing data privacy issues when evaluating digital tools for student use.
Knowing that our students have the need for enhanced knowledge of digital citizenship, the Underwood library will align with our SIP plan area " A4.01 The school implements a tiered instructional system that allows teachers to deliver evidence-based instruction aligned with the individual needs of students across all tiers."
The media center will focus on providing instruction to help students grow in their ability to be safe digital citizens.
A weekly Media Monday message which focuses on Digital Citizenship.
The message will include video content to be shared with students.
