A strong school library program promotes and advocates for student data privacy by providing instruction in data privacy to students and staff and by prioritizing data privacy issues when evaluating digital tools for student use. 

Reflecting on the work of our MTAC team, our media center and myself this year, I feel I have provided staff and students with quality resources and instruction to meet the Data & Privacy objectives.  Next year, I will expand the Digital Citizenship lessons from 3 to 5 and incorporate these with 3rd -5th grade. 

Students in 3rd-5th grade were taught lessons and allowed to explore Interland, a game based program to support digital citizenship. 

Staff was provided this as a go to resource for each grade level. All digital learning content is approved in the WCPSS DRPL.
