The Southeast Raleigh Elementary library partners with key stakeholders to expand the library’s diverse collection and grow students’ love of reading by bridging the gap between access and opportunity. The media specialist uses prior classroom teaching experience to design culturally relevant and appropriate instruction that fosters creativity, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking.
