Where do I find out information about Home Base, Moore Square, bell schedule, etc.?
The best “one-stop shop” is the school website. You can access teacher websites there, see announcements, view a calendar, etc. The school website is here.
I have a question about transportation (carpool, bus riding, etc.). Who do I contact?
Please feel free to call the school with your specific question so that we can direct you to the correct person. WCPSS Transportation Department handles transportation questions.
How do you help students stay organized?
Students will receive agendas and are expected to fill in their homework every day for every class. You can help your student by asking to look at their agenda when they get home!
Who do I contact if I have a question or concern?
The best place to start is to reach out to a specific teacher who you think may be able to answer the question you have or address a concern that you have. You may also utilize the 'Contact Us' feature of this website or click here.
Where is carpool?
Only the block of Bloodworth between Martin and Davis is the carpool line.
Where can I find more information about carpool and ride sharing?
Visit our PTSA Moore Square Ride Share page! If you wish to access the express bus you will apply through the WCPSS transportation site here. You can also see routes, stops, etc. through this site.
Help! My child is missing a class in their schedule or needs to make a schedule change!
Contact Mrs. Estes (jestes2@wcpss.net) or Mr. Wray (mwray@wcpss.net) about schedules.
How will schedules for this year be handled?
As for schedules - we know some families may be able to see their schedules online. We are asking for everyone’s patience as these schedules may change based on attendance and numbers. Please allow time for us to review and make changes to schedules after the district creates the student groups for school based on Virtual Academy numbers.
Do students have assigned textbooks?
Students do not have assigned textbooks. They do have workbooks for ELA and Math.
How much time do students receive for lunch?
Students receive 27 minutes for lunch. When they leave 5th period, they should already have their packed lunches. They should head straight to the cafeteria to utilize every moment of lunch wisely. This year, lunch will look different. And, of course, we will follow all state, local, and district guidelines that are related to lunch!
