Objective 1

Over the course of the 18/19 academic year, we will hold at least two professional learning sessions on skills related to information literacy, digital citizenship and digital learning in order to empower student learning.

As a result of the MTAC/BYOD Committee, all student stakeholders in Grades 2-5 at Sanford Creek Elementary began development of their personal online portfolios with the aid of the Wake Digital Learning Coordinators, Digital Portfolio team, and the Media Specialist .

*We lead staff training on Digital Integration Show and Tell to better empower student learning with the use of technology.

During the staff meeting BYOD team and other staff members did a 3 minute each show and tell of how they incorporated digital tools in their classrooms.

Staff members were able to a quick tour of apps that teachers are actually using to help with curriculum, and decide if they wanted to implement it into their classroom.
