Card Games & Board Games Fitness
UNO Card Fitness - This can be completed with your family or you can complete exercises by yourself.
What materials will you will need:
UNO Cards
If your exercising with your family (good for outside activity with a group)
You can also use a hula hoop or spot to place the cards on
Cones/Markers to designate your starting point
Set-up:
Shuffle the UNO Cards
If competing on your own you can leave the cards stacked in a pile
If competing with a group you can scatter the cards in a hula hoop or designated spot
If competing with a group divide your group up into 2 team players and set even spots to start from the hula hoop or designated area
Activity Rules:
If competing by yourself set a goal for working out for 10 minutes
If competing with a group you will be running to retrieve 1 card at a time, your group will complete the exercise assigned to each card. You can also set a goal for working out for 10 minutes or goes a long as it takes you to finish the UNO deck.
UNO Cards - Activities to do when you draw specific cards.
Red Number Cards - Complete the number listed on the card -Invisible Jump Rope (Ex. Red 8 card = 8 Invisible Jump Ropes)
Blue Number Cards-Complete the number listed on the card - Jumping Jacks
Yellow Number Cards - Complete the number listed on the card - High Knees
Green Number Cards - Complete the number listed on the card - Squats
Wild Card/Swap Hands - free - No Exercise - Rest
Draw 2 Cards of Any Color - Draw 2 more cards and complete both of the exercise based on the color listed above.
Reverse Cards of Any Color - Complete 10 Reps Counting Backwards - Sit-ups
Skip Card= Free - No Exercise-Rest
Wild Draw 4 Card - Individual Draws 4 more cards and completes the exercises based on the exercises listed above. If playing in a group you will give this card to another team and they must draw 4 more cards and complete the exercises based on the directions above.
