Supplemental materials are selected to complement, enrich, or extend the curriculum. The responsibility for the selection of supplemental materials is delegated to school-based staff under the direction of the principal. (Policy 3200)

Specialized materials selected to meet diverse needs or rapidly changing circumstances, classroom collections, and teacher-selected resources for individual classes
Supplemental texts like articles, books, passages from non-anchor texts, etc.
Multimedia aids like video segments, digital simulations, music
