I have been teaching elementary music for twenty-five years. I hold both a Bachelor and Master Degree in Music Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I play the piano, organ, handbells, guitar, ukulele and lots of classroom instruments. I enjoy listening to music as much as I enjoy making it. I believe the arts are an important and vital part of our children's education - academically, socially, mentally, physically and emotionally. I know that all children can learn and grow through music. I want all of my students to become life-long musicians, whether it is playing an instrument, singing in a choir, attending live concerts, or being a music supporter and consumer.Â
