Ms. Parker's Terrific Thirds

Welcome to Ms. Parker's Third Grade Class. I am excited to welcome my third class! I worked with Oakview Elementary for 5 years as an IA and found that my childhood dream of being a teacher had been reignited.  I went back to school at William Peace University to receive my teacher certification, and am excited to finally be in the classroom where I have always dreamed of being!

 About Ms. Parker:  I am a mom to 3 amazing kids, Caleb (18), Abby (16), and Chloe(13).  We live right here in Holly Springs and all of my kids graduated from Oakview since I began working there! They keep me very busy running around to soccer, FCCLA club, drama, babysitting, and friends' houses.  We moved to North Carolina in 2016 to escape the freezing winters in Massachusetts and feel like it has been a great decision.  We love all that North Carolina has to offer: beaches, mountains, great weather, camping, and of course, Oakview!  I have a BA in Behavioral Science from Messiah College and last year added an Elementary Education Teaching Certification from WPU in Raleigh.
