Homework

All Lynn Road Elementary students are required to read at least 20 minutes per night. Talk to your child about what he or she is reading and ask questions about the text to ensure they are comprehending. You will find a link below of questions you can ask!

In 4th grade, students will also have a Reading homework assignment and Math homework assignment to complete every night, excluding the weekends. Reading and Math homework will be checked daily for completeness and accuracy.

The purpose of homework is to enforce the skills and strategies of the content students are learning everyday. We want students to practice frequently and show what they can do independently or where they may need support.

If your student is becoming frustrated while completing homework please intervene and send a note to school about the issue so a teacher can provide support to your student.
