Ntshoko Ivey is a fourth grade teacher at Lynn Road Elementary. This is her seventh year serving as an educator and fifth year at LRES! She spent her first four years of teaching in Durham, NC. She is a native of Raleigh, North Carolina and is a graduate of North Carolina Central University. While attending NCCU she was a member of The Marching Sound Machine where she had the opportunity to travel many places around the country including Pasadena, California for the Rose Bowl Parade. She is the eldest of five siblings and loves spending time with her family.
As a child, she considered being a nurse or a television commercial production specialist. She would do impersonations as a child of her favorite characters and skits that would fill her family with joy. One of Ntshoko's favorite childhood books is Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein.
