About Your Teachers

Hi! My name is Blaire Romines and I am SO excited to be part of the Willow Springs Kindergarten team! More importantly I am THRILLED to be your teacher! It’s going to be a fun year full of learning, new adventures, and I just can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us! I want to know ALL about you, but first I’m going to tell you a few things about me.

I was born and raised in High Point, NC and I moved to Raleigh to attend Meredith College in the fall of 2001. There I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and my K-6 license. Go Angels!

My first teaching job out of college was here at Willow Springs in Kindergarten. I knew that I was working in a great school and would never want to leave! I taught Kindergarten for 4 years and then made the move up to first and taught there for 4 years. I have been back in Kindergarten, for 12 years now, and I couldn’t be more excited about teaching a grade that I am so passionate about! 

I have been married to my wonderful husband Jason for 17 years and we are the proud parents of our son Cooper, who will be 13 in September and will start 7th grade this year, our daughter Emaline, who will turn 4 in December, and our adorable lab Sadie that joined our family Christmas 2019. Our house sure is busy and so full of love! I know that as the year goes on you will learn more about them because I love talking about my family! (Talking about your family always makes you smile when you might be having a sad day.) I also have one younger brother named Charlie and he is married to my amazing sister-in-law Brittany and they have my sweet little niece Stella and adorable nephew Wells! We try to visit them as often as we can so that I can spoil them rotten!​ 

I am so excited to be your teacher and for you to be part of this AWESOME class! This is going to be a GREAT year!
